WHITCHURCH Wayfarers Cricket Club held their end of season senior presentation in the last of the summer’s sunshine.

A season of mixed fortunes resulted in both senior teams maintaining their places in their respective leagues.

The first XI finished mid-table in Devon Devon D West having won eight games and lost eight.

First XI batsman of the year was Ben Powell, bowler of the year Hammy Kerswill and captain’s player of the year Nigel Barriball.

The second XI also finished mid-table of Devon G West having won eight games and lost seven.

Second XI batsmen of the year was Bob Powell, bowler Jason Webber and captain’s player of the year Phil McKenzie.

All rounder of the year was awarded to Josh Towl and fielder of the year to Dan Towl.

The trophies were presented by Nick Henderson of Mansbridge Balment. Gavin Hall as chairman awarded clubman of the year to Josh Towl.
