WHITCHURCH Wayfarers recently held their end of season presentation evening.
Handing out the awards was Nick Henderson of club sponsors MansbridgeBalment.
The first XI achieved their pre-season goal and finished above the relegation zone. With the introduction of the all through league, this was probably the most competitive division of the whole league.
Having retained their D West status, they now have a platform to build on in 2019.
The second XI had a successful season, but finished just outside the promotion places. The season was a mix of professional wins, comprehensive defeats and the odd nail biter.
The Evening league side started with a stunning victory but fell away to finish third.
As always the club has hosted touring teams that return to Whitchurch year after year.
The club thanked all its sponsors, volunteers and especially the tea ladies for their support during the 2018 season.
