EARLIER this month Hurdwick Golf Club played its last veterans friendly match of the season.  An extremely close fought match against the visitors, Fingle Glen, ended in a win for Hurdwick by three and a half points to two and a half points.  The match itself was played in extremely good humour.  The overall improvements of the course that were commented upon by the visitors indicated they are very much looking forward to the already planned return fixture for 2015.
