SEVEN of the smaller schools from West Devon enjoyed a festival of football at Crowndale, Tavistock. Lewtrenchard, Lamerton, Gulworthy, Milton Abbot, Mary Tavy and Brentor and Lady Modiford’s played each other to decide which team was the West Devon Small Schools’ Football champion.

It was a close competition with it going to the last game of the afternoon before a winner could be announced. Mary Tavy and Brentor A team won the OCRA Trophy and the gold medals, with Lady Modiford’s in second place and Milton Abbot in third.
