South West Peninsula premier
Godolphin Atlantic 1
Callington Town 3
THREE goals in 15 second half minutes secured a vital win for Callington on the north Cornish coast.
A goalless first half was no signal of the high drama that was to follow.
Less than 25 seconds into the second half Ricky Coton struck to give the Marshmen the lead and 15 minutes later it was 3-0 and match over as Tom Burgess followed a second for Coton to put the East Cornish side in the driving seat.
Athletic let their discipline lapse later on as two players saw red but they did get an unexpected goal back deep into injury time but it could not take the shine off an excellent day for Callington.
