TAVISTOCK AFC paid a special tribute to one of their loyalest fans, Terry McDonald, who died last week. Terry used to watch his favourite team from a wheelchair, rain or shine. Before the Lambs played their league game against Camelford on Saturday there was a minute’s applause in his memory.
A club spokesman said of their loyal fan: ‘Terry McDonald was one of a kind, a true character who no matter what the weather brought would be there supporting his beloved Tavistock Football Club. Last season he got his dream come true and that was to see Tavistock AFC win the League,
‘Terry McDonald was Tavistock Football Club’s 12th man, and he will truly be missed by everybody at the club.’
