DJM U16s Rodney
Chaddlewood Miners U16s 2
Horrabridge Rangers 3
HORRABRIDGE completed the double over Chaddlewood side but had to come from two goals down to earn the three points.
The visitors started the game well with Jack Northam and Charley Dawson dominating midfield and Max Burgess and Josh Birch linking well upfront.
Chaddlewood opened the scoring when Dann smashed the ball home from eight yards and they doubled their lead five minutes later when Raymond scored from close in.
Rangers got themselves back into the game when centre-back David Milligan's precise 60 yard free-kick found player of the match Jack Northam and he superbly placed a glancing header past the home keeper. Minutes later were level when Burgess, Dawson and Ollie Tugwell all combined well to send Josh Birch racing clear and he drilled the past the keeper.
The second half was a pretty scrappy affair although Horrabridge were always in control and at times played some quality football.
The winner came after 55 minutes when a Sam Ryder corner fell to Will Glanville and he superbly volleyed home from 12 yards. Whenever Chaddlewood did threaten the Horrabridge goal the defence of Glanville, Milligan, Johnson and Ryder were always equal to the task.
