PUPILS from Mount House School accompanied by head of science Steve Buckley took part in a ten-day adventure trip to North Wales, in the company of children from a dozen other schools across the UK.
A school spokesperson said:?'They joined in a range of outdoor pursuits that included sailing, wind surfing and kayaking on Nant Gwynant lake, mountain biking, rock climbing, mountain climbing, and orienteering in the beautiful countryside at the foot of Snowdon.'
In the evenings the activities continued with lacrosse, volleyball, crugger and archery. All this physical exertion was counterbalanced by riverside walks and ice cream at Beddgelert, so that the children were fit, relaxed and sporting a healthy glow by the end of their adventure.
