TAVI Hire faced midtable Woodford hoping to keep up their unbeaton record since Christmas.

Woodford opened up the back four to take an early lead. After 20 minutes Tavi Hire settled in and started to dominated and equalised through Arron Burton who controlled well on the six yard box to drive home.

Des Newton scored Tav Hire's second with a well placed effort after a good run. They extended their lead when Dave Wilkinson scored a penalty after Dan Behanan was up-ended. Just before half-time Sam Saunders made it 4-1 with a scrambled effort from a corner.

The second half started sloppy for the visitors and Woodford pulled a goal back. Then a quick fire double from Dave Wilkinson and Sam Saunders made the game safe. 

Dave Wilkinson for Hire completed his hat-trick when substitute Nick Monk made space on the right and crossed for Wilkinson to tap home with the last kick of the game.
