IT was not too long before Okehampton found themselves 2-0 down.
The visitors may have increased their lead but for the form of young keeper Hayden Bond, who pulled of some superb saves to keep his team in the game.
Great work from Okehampton's man of the match Zac Middleton, John Jarvis and Scott Bending held the tight defence together, but just before the half time whistle Minehead struck again.
In the second half Okehampton began to threaten the Minehead goal with captain Brett Lawson leading the charge and creating more chances.
One chance fell to Mark Bingham whose reverse hit went well wide.
The rain continued to fall and soon did any hopes of an Okehampton come back.
Minehead rounded off an impressive display by scoring two more before the final whistle saved Okehampton's blushes.
