THE football season will soon begin — and with last year's management team moving on to Plymouth Parkway the club have promoted Stewart Cawte to manage the first team.
The new manager has made several good signings to strengthen last year's squad after some members followed last year's manager to Parkway.
The club have been training twice a week for three weeks and things are looking positive for the coming season.
The manager has arranged some attractive friendly fixtures to test his squad to the limit.
Tomorrow (Friday) night the club will entertain southern league Bideford at Langsford Park with a 7.30pm kick off. This is followed on Tuesday, July 14 when the club hosts conference south side Truro City, 7.30pm kick off.
On Wednesday, July 22 Plymouth Argyle Reserves visit Langsford Park with a 7.30pm kick off.
Having gained promotion back to the premier league the club trust that the local community will turn out in their numbers to back the club this season. The fixtures listed will give fans a chance to look at the new players against a top class opposition.
The first league fixture is on Saturday, August 8 when The Lambs visit local rivals Callington Town with a 3pm kick off. The club's first home fixture is on Saturday, August 15 when they entertain Torpoint Athletic with a 3pm kick off.
