Plymouth and Devon division three
Tavistock Hire Centre 0
Lee Moor B 2
A BLUSTERY afternoon Tavistock Hire Centre were back in league action hoping to defend there unbeaten start to the season against mid table Lee Moor.
The game started evenly with neither team able to take control which meant a scrappy first half.
The only real chance of the half fell to Lee Moor when its midfielder picked the ball up from 20yards and hit a first time shot that cannoned off the bar.
Tavi Hire started better in the second half when Dale Mullen came on. Things changed when Hire striker Kurt Hadaway made a high lunging tackle on a Lee Moor player to see a straight red card with 20 minutes remaining.
Down to 10 men Tavi still looked the better team but with 15 minutes to go defender Darren Sambles mis-judged a ball and the Lee Moor striker squeezed the ball home.
Hire pushed for an equaliser and defender Robert Moloney hit the bar from a corner swung in with five minutes remaining. This was the closest Hire came, and in the last minute Lee Moor scored its second to wrap up the points.
