Tavistock ladies seconds 6

Mannamead

ON a cool, blustery Sunday, the Tavistock seconds  were determined to keep to their winning ways with another clean sheet.

With instant pressure on the Mannamead defence and a superb flick in from Lola Francis to Judy Lowton, Tavistock scored their first goal of the match.  Tavistock continued their domination over Mannamead playing with finesse and using the width and length of the pitch they had their second goal when Annalise Wright fed the ball to player of the match Lola Francis to put away.

With the Tavistock defence staying strong the few attempts on the Tavistock goal were thwarted and it was not long before Tavistock were back on the attack.

Goal number three was scored by Judy Lowton with an assist from Izzy Davis.  With the first half all about skills and team discipline the second half was completely the opposite.

With Mannamead on the attack from the start Tavistock found themselves in a scrappy fiery match.

Goal four, however, came with a great run from Annalise Wright and Alex Davis allowing Judy Lowton to push it past the defence and with Mannamead without a goal keeper it was an easy tap into the net.

Even with Tavistock lacking the structure of the first half, goals five and six were soon scored.

Goal five was again scored by Lowton fed in by Francis and goal six by Wright, assisted by Charlotte Ray.

This was a great win for Tavistock and with two mother/daughter combos on the team it shows what a happy family friendly team it is.
