AT the Sanduck Cross Farm, Lustleigh on Saturday in the Devon and Exmoor Sheepdog trials there were many successes for Jed Watson of Postbridge and his dogs. He won in the novice Maltese with his dog Meg with 77 points; there were wins also in the the open M/X with Sweep on 82pts, the novice driving with Jay, 85pts and the open driving with Jay on 85pts. On the Sunday in the Sanduck Cross Charity trial in the novice M/X Jed Watson won with Meg on 89pts, and in novice driving with Jay on 72pts and the open driving. In the novice driving on Saturday J Dennison-Smith of Okehampton with Chip was sixth while the next day  they were fifth, also in the novice driving. There was also a fifth place in the open driving for W Evans of Beaworthy with Sanduck Mirk.
