HAVING reformed this season, South Zeal Football Club were keen to try and engage more with the community and try and inspire the younger kids in the village and surrounding area to want to play for the team in the future.

So the club ran a competition with the year 5 and 6 pupils at South Tawton Primary School, to design a new club logo. There were some excellent entries, but the winner was year 6 pupil, Tom Pike. Tom is a keen footballer and was pleased to win the award! The club thanks to the staff at South Tawton School for supporting the competition.
