FALLING behind to a 14th minute goal from Gary Brown, Chagford struggled to find any form in the first half, much to the frustration of the home supporters.

Langdon kept their hosts defence on their toes but, at the other end, the few Chagford glimpses at goal were snuffed out by a zealous assistant referee.

The second half saw a marked improvement although Chagford were wasteful in front of goal before Tom Stanbury swept in a deserved equaliser.

With Chagford pressing for a winner they were caught out twice late on as Brown broke free to claim a hat-trick.

The Reserves entertain Offwell Rangers this week (3pm).
