MANY members of Tavistock Golf Club travelled to Thurlestone to support the Ladies Still Cup team in the final against Exeter.  

All the matches were hard fought but the final result was a win for Exeter 4 and 3.  

Tavistock's lady captain Patty Congo, when presented with the runners -up cup, praised her team for their great play and magnificent efforts.

She said:?'I am so proud of you all and so is the club.  I thank all the caddies and the supporters who turned out in numbers and also the Exeter team who were such worthy opponents.'
