THIS year Tavistock Swimming Club saw 20 of its swimmers take part in the 2016 Devon County Age Group Championships, which took place at Plymouth Life Centre.

With 18 age group finals, five championship finalists, and 12 regional finalists, the swimmers did superbly!

The swimmers were: James Anderson, Gemma Arundel, Hannah Chitty, Emily France, Jake France, Amber Francis, Alex Francis, Thanae Garland-Tsirka, Alexander Hobbs, Cameron McGurk, James Meredith, Laura Meredith, Alfie Morgan, George Morgan, Peter Ray, Nathaniel Rookes, Kieran Rookes, Sarah Teague, Lloyd Underwood, and Hannah Walker. 

Most swimmers achieved age group finals, with James Anderson making the 200m butterfly championship final, and Nathaniel and Kieran Rookes both making the 50m, and the 100m breaststroke champion-ship finals.
