THIRTY nine young bike riders took part in the recent Tavistock Wheelers Go Ride races at Whitchurch Primary School.

Go Ride is British Cycling’s entry level racing format, with riders grouped in school years.

Tavistock Wheelers were well represented in the medal winners, especially amongst the girls, where Lara Dix, Orla Maguire and Ella Cousins all won their age group races. As well as medals for the winners, there were prizes for all competitors, courtesy of Tesco’s Tavistock.

The Whitchurch School race was the first in a series of three, the next one being in Lew Trenchard School on Saturday, October 22.
