THERE was an exciting rainforest adventure recently for the children of Lifton Pre-School and younger pupils at Lifton Primary School.

The children spent a morning with Ellie the Explorer, who introduced them to some weird and wonderful creepy crawlies, such as Kelloggs the corn snake, Cooper the giant African land snail and Sally the millipede.

The event was a treat provided by the pre-school, using the money raised at the May Fair. Staff at the pre-school expressed thanks to the primary school for allowing the use of the school hall.
