PARENTS and members of the local community were invited to a coffee afternoon at Bridestowe Primary School in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support recently.

They admired the children’s recent school work while enjoying scrumptious cakes and a cuppa. Delicious cakes were generously donated by parents, staff and Lifton Strawberry Fields along with Foxcombe Bakery.

The teachers and children were pleased to receive many positive comments and this very enjoyable and relaxing afternoon, on October 13, raised £250 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
