A STOKE Climsland cyclist set off last weekend on an epic ride ? the 400-mile ?Sahara Cycle Challenge?.
Lynda Beer, set off on Saturday from Marrekesh with a group of 26 cyclist on the gruelling ten-day ride.
The route will take them through the climatic extremes of the Atlas Mountains.
Lynda was able to take part thanks to £500 in sponsorship from Tavistock Round Table. She is expecting to raise more than £2,500 to benefit Round Table?s adopted national charity, Round Table Children?s Wish. The organisation provides help to the families of terminally-ill children across the country, allowing many youngsters to realise as least some of their dreams while they can.
