THERE'S an opportunity to enjoy a coffee, a chat and even try your hand at craftwork at a regular Wednesday morning event in Tavistock this month.

The coffee mornings are being organised by the Salvation Army in partnership with Self Unlimited, and will take place from 10am until noon at the United Reformed Church in Russell Street.

Coffee, tea and biscuits will cost £1 and everyone who comes along will also be able to try their hand at a simple Christmas craft.

If the mornings prove successful, the organisers hope to continue them after Christmas on a regular basis.
