WE would like to thank everyone who generously supported the ‘Short Walk in the Annapurna Mountains’ talk and supper last Friday evening in Lamerton Village Hall.

Seventy people attended and the total raised was £971. A wonderful effort by everyone.

The funds raised will go to Action Nepal and are intended to support the earthquake devastation that has affected many Nepalese schools.

Lamerton School, Gulworthy School, St Peter’s Church and the Lamerton community have now raised a total of £2,000 to support the displaced Nepalese people.
