Fowey 4
Lamerton 1
IT was looking rosy for the visitors in the first half, who created numerous chances and James Steer causing havoc down the right wing.
However they only managed one goal, taking the lead when Rob Dicken sweetly volleyed in a Steer cross. Lamerton conceded a needless equaliser, just before half time, when Tony Jones crudely tripped Fowey's right winger inside the box.
In the second half Lamerton struggled to get the ball out of their own half and Fowey took advantage, scoring direct from a corner and then via a 30 yard thunderbolt by Josh Frampton.
Simon Breyley was lucky to stay on the pitch after a deliberate foul, but Fowey made him pay, when Gary Barnard headed in the resulting free kick, leaving Lamerton's great start to the season in tatters.
Lamerton 4
St Dominick 0
After four league games without a win, Lamerton put in a much needed performance against St Dominick.
James Steer opened the scoring after good work down the right by Rich Searle. Dave Ball then blazed a penalty kick high and wide, but made amends, by supplying Rich Searle, who turned his man and fired in a low left foot shot for the second.
St Dominick threatened early on in the second half, but Dan Healy made the game safe, combining with Paul Breyley, before striking home from the edge of the box.
Steer grabbed another soon after, with a crisp 20 yard shot and Lamerton got a much needed win to keep them in the top half of the table.
