NEW faces have taken over the lead at the Rotary Club of Yelverton.

Three new top officers took up their roles at the club recently. Taking over as president for the second time is Sandra Dinely-Jones, who lives in Bere Alston and who is married to Alan Dinely-Jones, a member of the Tavistock Rotary Club and a past Rotary district governor.

Sandra’s business interest is in property investment. She is committed to charitable work within Rotary national, international and within the local community and she exemplifies the Rotary motto of ‘service above self’.

In her acceptance speech, she said: ‘I’m really looking forward to continuing the great work that the Rotary Club of Yelverton does in the local area and its efforts in supporting district and international initiatives.’

Taking over as the new president-elect is Peter Armstrong, who lives in Walkhampton and is a company director in the business of defence electronics.

Sandra and Peter will be assisted by new junior vice president Nigel Tigwell, who lives in Princetown.
