CHRISTMAS will be heralded with traditional and modern music at the Okehampton Excelsior Silver Band’s early evening concert on Sunday (December 9).

The free concert starts at 6.30pm at the Charter Hall.

‘We have broken with tradition this year by deciding to hold the concert on a Sunday.

‘This is so we can have an earlier start so that our audience are not returning to their homes late in the evening,’ said band spokesperson Heather Edwards Entwistle.

‘The band look forward to welcoming everyone to the concert.’
