TWO mums have put the pedal down to raise money for Bridestowe Primary School.
Pippa MacDougall and Emma Bibby-Jones have cycled from Lands' End to John O' Groats to raise money for the Friends of Bridestowe School. The group pays for additional resources for the school to help relieve pressure on the school budget.
The kind-hearted pair paid a visit to the school on Monday morning to speak to school pupils about their fundraising efforts before setting off for the final stint down to John O'Groats.
After completing their mammoth cycling challenge, Pippa and Emma attended a special reception at the school on Monday evening, where the school got a chance to say thank you for all their hard work.
At the reception, they received some special thank you gifts, including Banbury's vouchers, a mini rose bush and a session in a hydro pool, kindly sponsored by the Manor House Hotel.
