MEMBERS from both Tavistock Athletics and Bere Alston Trekker's took part in the annual Ladies 10k last Sunday. 

This race starts and finishes at the Dornafield Caravan and Camping Site and the course followed undulating rural lanes with little traffic and past through the local hamlets of Ogwell and Denbury.

Cheering the runners home at the finish was club coach Dotty Allan and her son George.  First home for Tavistock was Hazel Walker, both Bat's finished together and everyone finished the race in under an hour - which is great running.

This was the runners last training run before 26 combined club members, race in the New Forest Half Marathon this coming Sunday.
