ROCK band The Jesus and Mary Chain are heading to Cornwall to headline Looe Music Festival 2017 and kick start their autumn tour on the beach.

Following the announcement that their first new album in almost two decades is set for release in March 2017, the band is embarking on a live tour, with one of the stops being in Looe.

The only South West date on the tour, The Jesus and Mary Chain’s headline slot at Looe Music Festival will give fans a rare opportunity to see the band on stage and the first taste of the new material live.

The 2017 Looe Music Festival, running from September 29 to October 1, promises high energy back-to-back beats on the beach and the chance to discover new music whilst exploring the picturesque fishing port of Looe, South East Cornwall.

Previous headliners have included, Bryan Ferry, Jools Holland, Johnny Marr, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, The Proclaimers, The Stranglers, Levellers, Reef, Alabama 3, The Darkness, Frank Turner and Squeeze.
