FOUR scouts from Walkham Valley Scout Group have achieved the highest award available in the Scout section.

Connor Higginson, Richard Young, Lewis Kirkpatrick and Nicholas Savage were presented with the Chief Scout Gold Award by completing eight challenge awards over a four-year period.

The awards were presented by Scout Leader Ray Butler at the end of a successful water activities weekend attended by more than 40 Cubs and Scouts.

All four showed determination and dedication to achieve this high standard in Scouting.
