WREN Trust and Red Spider Company are looking for instrumentalists to join a small band for their next production in October — 'Kitty Alone'. 'Kitty' is a cracking yarn of love and betrayal with plenty of dramatic moments as well as humour.

As with 'Red Spider', their first success back in 1997, this play has been scripted by Tim Laycock and part of the action features a village orchestra of occasionally dubious tuning and skill!

So,if you are a modest violinist, a closet clarinettist, a bashful bassoon or whatever, and you would like to join in the new music, as well as local folk songs from the Baring-Gould collection, please ring Wren Trust on 01837 53754 and ask to speak to Paul Wilson, who will be arranging all the music.

Alternatively, you can just turn up at Lewtrenchard Primary School, Lewdown, on Tuesday, June 13 at 7pm when Paul and Tim will be introducing the play and its music.

Whatever happens, if you join in, we can promise you lots of fun.
