OKEHAMPTON Young Farmers showed off their Olympic spirit last week, with a special club cubicle display.

The club created a podium, laurel wreath and their own unique set of the Olympic rings for the show.

Judges were so impressed they awarded the display first prize in the Haldon Group YFCs — competing against other superb entries.

Haldon is one of six groups in the Devon Federation of YFCs and there are five clubs in the group — Bow YFC, Chagford YFC, Cheriton and Tedburn YFC, Newton St Cyres YFC and Okehampton YFC.

The display was also given a silver rosette at the Devon County Show.
