Hatherleigh Market is getting ready to move to its brand new purpose built home in the new market quarter this December - but that won’t affect our dedication to providing a perfect festive fair!
Join us on December 6 & 7 for our two day Christmas fair. Discover delicious bites in our food hall and bring the kids to meet Father Christmas. You’ll also find an exciting mix of local traders selling crafts, gifts, antiques and collectables, while throughout the fair there will be hot food and live entertainment. It’s the perfect opportunity to find everything you need for the festive season!
Come along to join in the festive cheer, find that perfect gift, and support local vendors.
We’re also hard at work putting the finishing touches on our shiny new market hall, meaning we will soon be able to accommodate up to 30 indoor stalls, plus a cafe.
Alongside this we have an outdoor market square which will accommodate up to an additional 60 traders. We also have a purpose-built ‘Fur & Feathers’ building and we're looking forward to bringing back poultry and general auctions in the new year.
Starting from December 10, the regular Tuesday market will move from the Hatherleigh Community Centre to the new market building. We’re also planning to provide more opportunities for you to shop locally, with plans on the horizon to launch a new farmers’ market on Saturdays at the new venue, plus a car boot sale on Sundays in the new year, as well as hosting a variety of different events throughout the year.
We can’t wait to get to our new home, and we hope to see as many of you there as possible!
