The Empty Box Company is opening its workshop doors on Saturday, November 23 for a rare opportunity to see how their beautiful boxes are created; all handmade in Devon near Milton Abbot.
The Empty Box Company is well known to film, TV and theatre for making any gorgeous box for them that might be needed. Traditionally covered in beautiful interior design papers, the boxes are finished with ribbon and lace and have appeared in Downton Abbey, Bridgerton, EastEnders, Harry Potter World and the Theatre Royal, to name but a few!
Apart from the excitement of making boxes for TV, The Empty Box Company specialises in Wedding Dress preservation boxes, for keeping a wedding dress or Christening robe treasured for the years to come, preventing discolouration through the special board that the boxes are made from.
The company also offers a huge range of unique interior design boxes for around your home, such as box files, magazine holders, memory boxes, treasure boxes and toy storage boxes, with no plastic in sight, covered in stunning papers including William Morris designs.
Everyone is welcome to come along for free on Saturday, November 23 between 10.30am – 3.30pm for the Christmas Outlet Sale, with up to 50 per cent off products, and unique Christmas boxing gift ideas.
The workshop tour (ticket required at £7.50 including tea, coffee & cake!) is an exclusive insight into how the amazing workshop team handmake their one-of-a-kind boxes in the Devon workshop, and learn more about the company with their tree planting project aiming for net zero carbon footprint!
And lastly if you are feeling creative, you can go home with your very own Empty Box creation by making your own pen pot! (Tickets required at £7.50) All materials are provided and you can pick up a free craft bag of offcuts of beautiful interior design wallpapers, ribbons and lace.
